OUR MISSION is to teach excellent massage techniques, working from the heart and with intent. Our classes are based on modern philosophies and training with a hands on approach. Our goal is to provide training necessary to be skilled and professional as well as help students evolve as a person, allowing them to become a better therapist. We strive to keep rates affordable and offer initial training, continuing education, and massage programs to help therapists evolve and flourish while accomodating students varied goals.
OUR FACILITY is located on the beautiful Mendocino coast, in the heart of downtown Fort Bragg. Within a 2 block walking distance, there is a great selection of quality restaurant and coffee houses. Next door, at Bamboo Garden Spa, we have books and massage supplies available for purchase.
Our Class sizes range from 4-16 students, for more individual instruction. Our school is State Approved with Certified Teachers, for the highest quality.

Attention all Therapists: State Massage Certification regulations to 250 hours, then to 500.
This bill will commence September 1, 2009, it provides for the certification of massage practitioners and massage therapists by the Massage Therapy
Organization. It is the intent of this act to create a voluntary certification for the massage therapy profession that will enable consumers to easily identify credible certified massage therapists; assure that certified massage therapists have completed sufficient training at approved schools; and phase in increased education and training standards consistent with other states.
State Certification regulations will be non-voluntary in 2012; and requiring 500 hours by 2015.
Beginning June 2009 Bamboo Garden School of Massage will be offering massage program level 1 for 175 hour. Massage Therapy 1 will no longer be available on it own, but only as part of our programs. This is due to the upcoming changes in the hours required by the state.
