Autumn Stuckey (aka the "Lunge Queen") graduated in 2001 from The School of Shiatsu and Massage in Middletown, CA. From there she worked in private practice at a local bed and breakfast, while continuing to assist teaching Massage 100 with Elaine Marie at The School of Shiatsu and Massage. She expanded her style, while furthering her knowledge, with continuing courses of Thai Massage, Advance Structure Release, Deep Tissue, and Reflexology. In 2005, she and her husband opened Bamboo Garden Spa where she continues to work as a massage therapist. She continues to learn by reading anatomy books and other massage modalities in her spare time as well as take classes every chance she can get.
Jess Stuckey (aka "Funny Guy") is a 2001 graduate from The School of Shiatsu and Massage in Middletown, CA. After opening his private practice at a local bed and breakfast, he returned to assist teaching Massage 100 with Elaine Marie at The School of Shiatsu and Massage. He has received training in Deep Tissue, Advanced Structural Release, Side lying massage and Reflexology, which he incorporates into his work. He is also a big proponent of Anatomy and learning how the body moves and functions together. In 2005 he and his wife built Bamboo Garden Spa, where he maintains his massage practice.
Karin C. Uphoff holds a masters
degree in zoology from Arizona State University
and diplomas in Herbal Medicine and Iridology from the Selfheal
School in the UK. Karin completed massage certification and
advanced training at the Center for Human Unfolding in Santa Barbara California,
where she latter served as an instructor.
Aside from massage therapy, Karin and has a private practice as an
herbalist, yoga instructor and serves as a nutritional consultant in Mendocino. In her book, Botanical Body Care: Herbs and Natural Healing for Your Whole body
(2007), Karin pulls together personal and clinical experience along with her
reverence for nature, to inspire each of us to take care of our own piece of

Jim Donak's fascination with the human body began at an early age. He
began teaching himself anatomy and physiology at age 8 and studying Gung
Fu at age 14. Since then, he has committed himself to in-depth studies
of the healing arts, ranging from Tai Chi, Kinesiology, and The
Alexander Technique, to Neuro-Linguistic Programming, manual orthopedic
and osteopathic techniques, and musculoskeletal therapy.
Jim teaches anatomy and physiology, structure based bodywork techniques
and sports applications for Tui Na. He is also an instructor at the Acupressure Institute in

Ed Wilson comes with 20 years teaching experience in the university system at
Syracuse University, Virginia Tech and Florida State University, where
he specialized in teaching courses in the field of marriage, family
relations and family therapies. Since joining the bodywork community, he
has accumulated 26 years worth of experience in Swedish Massage,
Reflexology and Neuromuscular Therapy. Ed has developed a certification
program in Reflexology, which he teaches in our continuing education

Banks graduated 15 years ago from the Healing Arts Institute. After
attaining certification in Sport Therapy
from the McKinnon Institute,
she moved overseas to England and began her practice in Relaxation
Massage and Sport Therapy while continuing her education in
Aromatherapy/Acupressure Massage and Reflexology at Trafford College. Jessica's move to New Zealand proved to be the most awesome
journey as she attended the New Zealand College of Massage attaining a
Diploma in Clinical Therapeutic Massage (1600-hour course) and furthered
her education with an advanced Diploma in Body Therapies (200 hours)
both diplomas issued by the NZQA, the medical board of New Zealand.
